"Elindra Hearthsong cherished her quiet life in a small village, finding joy in simplicity and the company of close friends. Her younger brother, Cayver, was restless, longing for riches and greatness. When he learned of a legendary castle to the north, said to hold untold treasures, he set out on a journey, ignoring all warnings.

Braving the frozen wilderness, Cayver reaches the castle and encounters its ruler—Sylvara Frostheart, the Ice Queen. Once a seeker of wealth herself, Sylvara had become a prisoner of her own desires, bound to the castle as its eternal guardian. Now, Cayver is destined to take her place, inheriting the throne, the treasures, and the endless solitude that comes with them.

Elindra cannot accept her brother's fate. Despite his protests, she ventures north, determined to bring him home. But will she find him amidst the frozen wastelands? And will Cayver embrace her attempt to free him from the destiny he chose for himself?"
