This miniature terrain kit comes unassembled and unpainted. Assembly requires glue or adhesive tack.

Build out the scenery of your mountain village, forest hamlet, or windswept prairie town with this miniature terrain kit: the Founder's Cottage! This quaint cabin is perfect for dioramas, art displays, RPG play, or for your own personal collection. Part of the Tabletop Terrain series from Phoenix Foundry, this piece has several fun features, including a working door and a free-moving rotating roof-mounted windmill. If you're a fan of comfortable homesteads and windswept wonders, then this terrain kit is for you.

Sizing

This terrain kit comes in one standard size with the following approximate dimensions:

• Height - 145mm, from bottom to the top of the roof
• Width - 210mm, from side to side
• Depth - 155mm, including the doorway steps

This model is printed in multiple parts and altogether weighs approximately 455g.

The Tabletop Terrain series is sized for 28/32mm (1:56) scale figures, though this may vary a bit across the terrain series.

Custom resizing (larger or smaller) is available for this terrain kit, though we will need to coordinate with you on the specifics of your order. Custom resizing of existing designs do require quite a bit of hands-on work, adding/editing supports and conducting test prints to get you the best print possible. As a result, pricing will be done on a case-by-case basis. Quotes available upon request.

Assembly of the Founder's Cottage requires the use of modeling glue for a permanent build. You can also use adhesive tack or poster putty for a non-permanent build.

Production

Each piece is printed in gray PLA filament with a 0.15mm layer height, resulting in highly detailed models with nigh imperceptible layer lines. Other filament colors may be considered depending on inventory and availability.

While all efforts will be taken to provide perfect prints, filament models can have minor blemishes, including support marks. Postprocessing will be applied to each part to remove any stringing or major blemishes that may be left over from the printing process. Reprints will be done at no charge to you if a specific part is unsalvageable.

Each print is sold unpainted; any product photos showing painted or decorated work are for illustrative purposes only.

Packaging and Shipping

Each part of the kit will be bagged, labeled, and wrapped carefully in bubble-wrap to ensure a safe and secure shipping process. Following our standard HPW shipping policy, all orders over $35 come with free shipping.

This terrain kit takes approximately 60 hours to print, including handling time to clean and package the parts. As each terrain kit is created on demand, please allow 1-3 weeks for production and shipping. We will strive to get your order in your hands as soon as possible!
